The beach of Lygia village is a typical, emerald coloured coast on the eastern side of Lefkada.
The beach has easy access, lies directly next to the main road. The seabed is filled with coarse sand, gravel and pebbles, with some rocks in the water. Lygia has a medium organized beach, which means you can find here some parasols and sunbeds, but that’s all. Families come here often, because the sea is calm and shallow, and can be recommended for smaller children as well. The emerald waters of Lygia are great for swimming and sunbathing, or just relax a few hours.
The scenery of Lygia is well groomed, the village is popular with tourists.
