The beach of Lygia village is a typical, emerald coloured coast on the east side of Lefkada.
Lygia beach has easy access, because it can be reached directly next to the main road. The seabed is filled with coarse sand, gravel and some pebbles, with some rocks in the water. The village has a medium organized beach, which means you can find here some parasols and sunbeds for rent, but that’s all. Families come here often, because the Ionian Sea is usually calm and shallow at this beach, and can be recommended for small children as well. Almost the entire coastline of Lygia is great for swimming and sunbathing, or just for a relax for a few hours.
Lygia village is a popular destination for tourists, because of its pleasant atmospheres and due to the proximity of the beautiful Lefkada town.
