We tell you a secret: our history started with just one photo, which was shot at the blue waves at Porto Katsiki beach. The founder, Bruce had seen this photo on the internet in 2008, when he searched for the best travel destinations in Greece for a summer holiday. Today it’s hard to belive, but in that time Lefkada belong the most unknown and undocumented Greek Islands, with far less public infos about what to find there. Just a few days after he decided to explore the home of the blue beaches, where the photo was shot – and this was one of the best decisions in his life! Bruce was totally amazed from the first moment, and he felt so lucky, when he met the most blue colours of the Ionian Sea.
The idea was born to dedicate a website for this unknown gem – and after making a small guide in 2009-2010, it went to public and became widely known. When other passionate travellers and locals explored the best places, some of them joined to share their thoughts, and introduce all the highlights and hidden gems to the world.
