A wide range of restaurants are awaiting for guests in Lefkada, from tradional Greek taverns to modern restaurants.

Some of the local restaurants in Lefkada are well known for delicious foods, shortcrust meals, and housewines. Most of the taverns are located in the largest towns, such as in Nidri, Lefkada town, Vasiliki, etc, but there are no such important villages in Lefkada without restaurants or coffee bars.

In Lefkada town most of the taverns can be find next to the seaside promenade, near the port, and in the streets and squares of the town center. Some restaurants were built in narrow alleys of the old town of Lefkada, offering old fashioned and idyllic atmospheres.

Nidri hosts most of the taverns in its port, where these the restaurants were built literally next to each other. Some other taverns are located next to pedestrian road (on the main street), but these are slightly smaller and simpler restaurants, offering fast foods, such as gyros or souvlaki. If you wanna try other flavours than Greek in Nidri, you can taste cuisine of other nations, like Italian or English.

Vasiliki village has also many taverns, which were built near the port. Most of the tables are situated near the sea, which give traditional charm to these places.
