A small, but beautiful Agiofili beach is one of the most popular beaches in the area of Vasiliki village.
The easiest way to reach this magnificient beach is catching a taxi boat in Vasiliki, which depart hourly from the port of the village. Agiofili beach (Aghiofili) is surrounded by high vertical cliffs and has crystal clear waters, which deepens quickly. The sea temperature feels like a little bit lower than other beaches in Lefkada sometimes, because the streams of Ionian Sea bring some coolness here. When the sea surface is calm, Agiofili beach is especially recommended for snorkeling also, the rocky sides of the seabed have significant marine life.
The beach is slightly organized with some parasols and sunbeds, and there is a small beach bar during the summer months. On the northern side of Agiofili you can find some stairs and an excellent viewpoint, where you can take awesome photographs of the beach. Agiofili beach is abandoned in the mornings, but after the first taxi boats arrive, it will be crowded quick!
If you come here on foot or by car from Vasiliki village, at the end of the poor quality road there is a small parking site.
