Parking in Vasiliki is free, and the center and the port are both near to parking lots, just 5 minutes of walk. Avoid parking directly at the pier of the ferry port, because that area is dedicated to the passengers of ferries.

Vasiliki can be reached by public buses as well, the village has direct connection with the bus station of Lefkada town. Buses run on actual daily schedules, and operate daily. The local KTEL bus station of Vasiliki is situated at the junction, which leads to the port from the main road, there is a car rental company also.

This small bus stop lies 300 meters away from the port, approx. 5 minutes of walk from there.

The local bakery, the pharmacy and the local tourist offices can be reached quick and easy from the port, all of these are within 2-5 minutes of walk. We can taste delicious pastries of two bakeries: one is situated in the port, the other is next to main road.

Best restaurants in Vasiliki, which are recommended by travellers and locals both, are Restaurant Oceans (sea food), Vagelaras (Βαγγελάρας), Giannis Grill House (Yannis, best gyros), and other mentionable restaurants are Starfish Restaurant, Ianos Restaurant and Velouhi. Many local taverns and cocktail bars place their tables in the port directly next to the boats, which give an extra charm for this tiny settlement in Lefkada Island.

In recent years the village become one of the most popular areas for tourists, but the nightlife is still less bustling, as in Lefkada town or in Nidri. Vasiliki beach

Most parking lots of the settlement can be find here, behind the sea. The shore is long and wide at most places, offering quite shallow seabed and usually calm waters.

Some parts of Vasiliki beach are organized and offer sunbeds for rent, with a few cocktail bars and apartments near the coast.
