Passa beach is known for its emerald waters and lush vegetation in Lefkada Island, located on the east coast. On some maps you can find this place as Perigiali beach (Παραλία Περιγιάλι in Greek language), because this place is situated next to Perigiali village, near Nikiana and Nidri. and someone know it as or Pasha beach (Παραλία Πασά).
The beaches of Perigiali are literally small sized coves, separated by some rocks from each other.

Where to find Passa beach (Perigiali beach) in Lefkada Island, and how to access
Passa beach lies on the east coast of Lefkada Island, approx. 14 kilometers away from the capital and 3 kilometers away from Nidri, next to Perigiali village. Its access is very easy, because the tiny coves are situated directly next to the east main road, which connects Nidri and Lefkada town.
Sometimes there can be seen a traffic sign of Perigiali as well, which literally indicates this bay for visitors. Directly next to the road you can find the free parking lots of Passa beach, where we can park our cars or scooters here. From this parking lot the Ionian Sea can be reached within 2 minutes of walk, so the beach of Perigiali has one of the most easiest access on the entire east coastline of Lefkada Island.
The primary beach Perigiali has two parts, we have to choose between north or south. Some maps and poor quality guides mention this place as Pasha beach, which is wrong – as you can see on the picture above, it’s real name is Passa beach.
These small bays are the primary beaches of Perigiali village, but there are some other tiny coves, which can be reached from the local apartments.
What to find at Passa beach, best features and things to know
The parts of Passa beach look like quite similar, because the shore is quite narrow everywhere, filled by coarse sand and pebbles. These bays are typical swimming places on the northeast coastline of Lefkada Island, where lush vegetation grow next to the crystal clear Ionian Sea.
Due to its narrow coast, Passa beach belong to unorganized Lefkada beaches, usually there can’t be find parasols and sunbeds for rent, or beach bars with meals and music. One of the best features of Passa beach is the calm sea surface, which lacks bigger waves of the west coast, and this feature make snorkeling and diving much more enjoyable at this place.
In front of the beach you can clearly see the Greek mainland, where high mountains (higher than a thousand meters) belong to the most picturesque attractions to see. Sea temperatures of Perigiali beach usually belong to warmer, because of shallow seabed and well protected location. Typical sea temperatures are in May 20- 22 Celsius, in June 23-25 Celsius, in July 24 – 26 Celsius, in August 25- 27 Celsus, and in September 24- 25 Celsius, depending on actual weather conditions of Lefkada Island.
Passa beach is less known place on the east coast of Lefkada Island such as other beaches, this place is visited primarily by the guests of Perigiali, who stay in local hotels and apartments. This small seaside resort literally lies in the outskirts of Nidri, just 2 kilometers away from the famous tourist center.
Other significant beaches in this area are Nidri beach situated about 2 kilometers in the south, and Nikiana beach approx. 4,5 kilometers away in the north.
Perigiali beaches are situated along the narrow coastline near Passa beach. These are unorganized places with pebbles and shallow sea, offering options to sunbathe and for swimming, as you can see on the photo above.

The nearest accommodations of Passa beach were built in Perigiali and in Nydri, these two villages are almost touch each other. The atmospheres of Perigiali is much calmer than the bustling streets of Nidri, therefore those apartments and studios are recommended primarily for travellers, who are looking for a tranquil settlement.

Perigiali and Nidri are connected to each other by the main road, which leads on the east coast of Lefkada Island, and make easy access to Nikiana, Lefkada town, or Vasiliki. Most of the shops, such as supermarkets or souvenir shops of this area are situated in Nidri within a few kilometers. Nidri has one of the most picturesque ports in Lefkada Island, with wide range of traditional restaurants, daily boat trips and bustling streets.
The beach of Nidri with sunbeds and bars is near to Perigiali beach as well, literally within a walking distance from each other.
